Finished Logo Assessment

My made up company is just selling props that you can use for movies. This is my made up logo for my company (Sir's Props). I'm trying to go a medieval look for the logo because my name originated in the medieval era. I tried different variations to the helmet and the words, and in the end I got what I wanted. I only have two challenges while making this logo, that is remembering where cir ten things are and learning on how to use a apple pc (I'm a window's person) and how i overcame these chalenges is just asking for help. In the end, I learned new suff like how to use illustrator and apple pc.

Logo Assignment

For this project i chose to do a logo based on a medivel helmet because i see a knight as gentelmenly and people find me as a gentleman. I only chose to do a helmet because i want to keep it simple for my made-up business. For my made-up business is a prop shop and the name is Sir's Props.

                                           Dynamic                                               Simple

these are a example of two different types of rhythm, dynamic and simple. the dynamic one that i did is just a simple pattern, then i change the sizes of the lines and i change the type of line, same with the simple lines that i did. the differents between dynamic and simple is that dynamic can go all over the page but the simple rythem is just going in a straight line,

The Spirit of Haida Gwaii by Bill Reid

bio_63b-yvr_b1-bh15-br-sohg-jade-canoe-1996-kn-1.jpg 655×475 pixels:

Description-
This is the spirit of Haida Gwaii by Bill Reid and it was created 1986. You can find this in the back of 20$, Vancouver airport and at Washington D.C. It is made of bronze and the colour I see is green. The size of this sculpture is (3.89x 3.48x 6.05x meters). I can see two people and lots of animals on a boat going somewhere.

Analysis-
The first thing i see on this sculpture is a man with a lot of animals. for this sculpture the artist us asymmetrical (different on each side). there is no spot on this sculpture that is more darker or more brighter and there is nothing repeated on this sculpture.

Interpretation-
Two people and a lot of animals is riding on a boat going somewhere and what the artist is trying to say is it represent the Aboriginal heritage of the Haida Gwaii region in Canada. I think the artist is connecting this sculpture with nature with the animals. I don't know if it expressing this with a feeling or emotion and in some places it shows some pattern and the title of this sculpture dose show what it means.

Judgment-
I think this sculpture is connecting with nature in some way with all the animals. one thing i like about the art work is it has me thinking like where are they going, why there is a lot of animals on the boat, who are the people on the boat, and that is just a few things that I was thinking about this sculpture and that is why I like this art work.
